What does InReality do?

InReality verifies the authenticity and provenance of digital content by checking content at capture or ingestion, cryptographically signing it, and allowing authorised users or audiences to independently verify its history.

Does InReality detect fake media?

No. InReality's approach is to establish whether content is authentic at the point of capture or ingestion rather than attempting to identify synthetic content after creation.

What happens when a file changes?

We know that sometimes people will want to tweak their content. At InReality we simply make it transparent what edits have been done. The end viewer can look at the content, still knowing it is authentic but also understanding where changes have been made along the way.

What is C2PA?

C2PA (the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) is an open standard for recording and sharing information about the origin and history of digital media.

Can InReality work inside another product?

Yes. InReality can support capture and verification within existing consumer, insurance and newsroom journeys.

What do you mean by banking-level security?

We mean using cryptographic signing to secure authentic content. A signature links the content to its record and allows its integrity to be checked. As content is edited and shared, its provenance record makes recorded changes visible, so anyone can verify the available evidence. This describes our approach to content security, not a banking certification or compliance claim.
