Journalism is one of the many industries at threat due to AI generated content.
For centuries journalists have been the voice of what is happening in the world. But with more and more misinformation on the internet, supporting journalists cut through AI slop with real stories, backed by real content is crucial.
InReality has teamed up with The Danish School of Media and Journalism to create news articles with verifiable authentic content.
The articles include content which has passed through the InReality system. Content is shown with a verifiable sign of authenticity, any edits to the content are also clearly detailed. Meaning you, the viewer, know the content is real, where it came from and what edits, if any, have been done to the content.
Bringing trust and transparency to the News is absolutely critical in a time where misinformation is listed by the WEF as being the 5th most prominent threat to society (2026). With realistic looking content being able to be produced by just about anyone extremely quickly and at next to no cost, authentic content is a key to providing trust in the News.
"Trust is hard to build and easy to lose" says Asbjørn Jørgensen, Lecturer at the Institute for Journalism. "With AI, it's just too easy to fake or edit photos and video, in ways that are almost impossible to check."
"We must support and encourage the development of standards and tools in this field. Here, working with InReality on pilot testing their technology was a no-brainer."
InReality first received both the original and edited photos from the journalists working on the articles. From here our technology is able to match the original to the edited and give a full analysis of exactly what editing has been done, if anything.
This is the exact technology which sits behind one of the two News tools we offer. The receiving tool allows you to do this process but with content being received by a news team.

We'd love to have a quick conversation!
